The site stands on the corner of two important streets in the 20th –century fabric of the historic centre of Lugano. The building is composed of two wings that, at their meeting point, form a sort of corner tower, marked at the summit by the presence of a tree. The building force lies in the thickness of the walls, emphasized by the presence of double windows which are set back with respect to the exterior wall line. The side volumes display continuous glassed walls in contrast with the massive brickwork of the corner tower. The tower houses the services and the vertical distribution system; the offices are in the side wings.
